Our time, abilities, and wealth are all gifts from God given for the purpose of serving God. The way a Christian shows appreciation to God is by sharing with others. It is out of your generosity of time, abilities, and other gifts that you can most intimately say “thank-you” to God for all that you have received.
Good Shepeherd encourages all parishioners to share of their time and abilities and to make it a goal to give 10% of their financial resources. We make a commitment to God once a year at a Sunday Worshiip Service then burn the cards as an act of faith that God will provide.
